The objective of society is alien to the objectivity of an Individual. Thus, a society can progress and it can become better. A society can become something and therefore, it must move outside of itself. It can shed its skin to reveal a new one; and similarly remain the same as before. What we are talking about are the evolution of rights, and that evolution in the context of society is not perpetual.
